Heavy duty, bi-directional, NPN (sink) shaft
encoder for use with electronic counters.
The range offers four models, standard and heavy
duty, each available with the option of NPN sink or PNP source outputs. These
encoders are dimensionally identical to our 3001 and 3003 counters. They are
applied where there is a need to convert rotational movement to electronic
pulses.
• Ideal replacement for mechanical
counters when used in conjunction with a suitable electronic counter.

• Offers remote-reading capability when used with counter or other
processor device.

• Heavy duty 10mm shaft.
• Can produce less than 1 pulse per revolution or fractions of pulses
per revolution.
Being internally geared they can offer very low
resolution of less than one pulse per revolution and fractions such as 10 pulses
per 3 revs. Standard pulses per revolution available are 1:1, 2:1, 3:1, 4:1,
1:10, 1:5, 4:10, 3:10, 1:25, 1:50 and 1:100. For example 1:25 pulse ratio means
that 1 revolution produces 25 pulses. Others on application.
